Bathing Beauty Day

Last Sunday we pulled out the kiddie pool in my mom's back yard, set up the kiddie tent, set chairs around, and let the girls entertain us! It was fantastic! My dad and Sandee joined us (and brought bubble guns which were a HUGE hit!), as well as Grandma Marg and Jenny. The girls didn't disappoint. They were so much fun to watch! Here are some pictures and videos from the day.

Mark had a system where he would let water warm in buckets in the sun and then would add it to the pool, which was in the shade, to keep it warm for the girls. Well, as you may have been able to predict, the girls decided they wanted to be in the buckets. And, of course, grandma was happy to oblige!

They did eventually end up toppling over. Unfortunately, I didn't capture that on camera!

Just like when we were in Florida, Aly was happy to feed Grace goldfish, and Grace was happy to eat the goldfish!

Grace was a busy little girl--running all over the yard...

And through the tunnel to the tent.

Aly was pretty busy herself! She really took a liking to Daisy (I have a bet with Megan that they will end up with a dog by the time Aly is in kindergarten!). Every night Aly just wanted to snuggle Daisy. Daisy was surprisingly a great sport! She even let Aly walk her around the yard as you can see by the pictures above and in one of the videos below. The dog pulls my arm out of the socket when I try to walk her but at least she knows to be gentle with the little girls!

Taking a break from the busyness to give each other a kiss :)

Grace absolutely adores her Uncle Bubee!

Juice box race!
