December 20th was a big day--Laura got to try BOTH pears and peas (I know--bad mommy--supposed to wait 4 days between introducing foods!)! She wasn't too sure about either.

Botanical Gardens
We went to the Denver Botanical Gardens with Kristen to see the lights. It was such a fun night. A bit chilly but Laura was so warm and snug she actually ended up napping. It was a really fun night--they do an amazing job with the lights!
6 months
The first 1/2 year of Laura's life flew by. What a joy she was in those first 6 months. Learning so much--how to sit, how to squeal, how to smile (constantly), and how to melt our hearts. We truly are blessed to have this little lady in our lives!
Grace loves the monthly treats :-)
2012 Christmas Program
The girls had their Christmas program at school on December 14, 2012. It was a day of mixed emotions as the nation mourned the loss of children and teachers at Sandy Hook elementary school. It made watching the innocence of these children that much more precious and I think I can speak for every adult there when I say we hugged our girls just a little harder and longer after the program.
Pretty holiday dress
Grace's class sang the most precious song--"A Lullaby of Love." We heard her singing it the entire month of December! She definitely enjoyed being on stage and talked about her "program" non-stop. She sang loud and proud! Love it!

Play Time
So thankful that I got to spend Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays with this little lady during her first year! Love watching her play!
Bath Tub Sitter
On December 3rd, Laura graduated to being a bath tub sitter instead of a recliner--I think she liked the transition!
