Disney--Day 3

Are third day at Disney included a trip to Animal Kingdom.  We did Donald's Safari Lunch at the Tusker House.  It was a character lunch with Donald, Mickey, Daisy, and Goofy.  The kids loved it and Grace even got a happy birthday cake (it was one day before her actual birthday).  After that we did the safari ride which was super cool.  Lots of animals up close--you really forgot that you were in Florida.  We decided to head back to the hotel and spent the day relaxing at the pool (which was a great call since the weather wasn't as nice the rest of the week).  That night we headed to Epcot for their firework show.  So much fun!

 And they're out! (we rented this double stroller for the week and it was the best $100 we have ever spent!  Loved it for the parks!)

Disney--Day 2

Day 2 at Disney we headed to the Magic Kingdom--in one word it was magical!

 This was my favorite moment of the trip--the moment Grace first saw the castle.  She literally came out of her seat and you could tell she was thinking, "Oh my God! It's real!"

 We got there just in time to see a show outside of the castle.

 Followed by a parade.  To say Grace was in sensory overload is an understatement!

  Then it was off to the rides--Mark and G did the race cars and then we did the teacups with Uncle Bob and Justin.

 And then it was off to the Dumbo ride.  The line was so long.  Mama and Laura had fun playing on Dumbo while we waited in line.

After this we went on the Goofy rollercoaster--Grace made us go twice--she giggled the entire time.  We definitely have a thrill seeker on our hands! Then we headed over to the new Fantasyland.  It wasn't officially open but they were doing a soft opening of some of the rides so we got to do the Little Mermaid ride and visit Belle's cottage.

Belle's cottage was a highlight for Grace.  It was very interactive--telling the story of Belle.  You go through different rooms and end up in a room where you recreate parts of the story with none other than Belle.  Grace was selected to be Philippe the horse.  Belle asks the horse "Where is Father?" And Grace was supposed to say, "In a castle in the woods."  Instead she responded, "I don't know!" It was perfect!

And of course we returned to the room to find a Mickey towel--a perfect place to perch a baby :-)
