A quick visit

We had a VERY quick visit from my Aunt Patty, Uncle Bill, Mark, Wesley, and Olga.  They were on their way home from Colorado Springs in mid-August and popped in to see the house, meet Laura, and give us all hugs.  We hope they come back for a longer visit soon!

Gardens

We spent the last Friday afternoon before school started with Grace's friend, Aubree, and her mom at the Gardens on campus.  As you can see, Laura wasn't very impressed.

Big bath!

On her 2 month birthday, Laura transitioned from bathing with the bath sling to actually sitting in the water.  As you can see, she was very apprehensive at first but then warmed up to the idea.

 

2 months

Somehow the first two months of Laura's life flew by.  We celebrated her 2nd month on August 16th.  By two months, Laura had developed excellent control of her head and was much more interactive with us.  She had her two month check up and weighed in at 11 lbs. 11 oz. and was 23.7 inches long.  It's truly amazing how quickly they grow!
