Christmas with Papa Weber

The Sunday after Christmas, Mark drove us to the border of MI/IN and my mom and Mike picked us up. Mark had to work through Wednesday so Grace and I headed up to get some extra time in MI. We were able to do some visiting, shopping, and relaxing.

One of the great things we did was spend some time with my dad. We picked him up late one morning and the three of us headed to lunch. It was so nice. Grace really loved spending time with her Papa. She even sat on his side of the booth with him for part of the meal and let him take her up to get dessert. We then went back to his house and hung out for a bit. I always feel like we don't get to spend enough time with my dad so it was really nice getting to visit for a longer period. We would have stayed even longer but it looked like both Grace AND Papa were ready for a nap :-)

Tickle time!

We got to spend more time with my dad when Mark got into town. We went to lunch with him, Sandee, and my grandma. Then we went back to his house to exchange gifts. By this point, Grace was a pro at opening!

A lawn mower from Papa--pretty appropriate if you ask me! She'll have to wear one of my "Bob's Lawn Maintenance" t-shirts when she does her mowing!
