Gigi and G2Pa!

We were so lucky to have Mark's grandparents visit in mid-October.  They arrived on October 18th--just in time to celebrate Mark's birthday!  Unfortunately, they did not have the smoothest trip.  Their train was delayed almost 8 hours but Laura was there to welcome them and meet them when they got to Denver which I think made the long trip worth it!

And of course they weren't here long before Grace had them playing board games!

We celebrated Mark's birthday with pizza at a great pizzeria in Old Town and Oreo dessert that night.

Unfortunately, Grandpa came down with a horrible stomach bug and wasn't able to leave his room much for the next two days.  We did find some fun things to do with Gigi though.

Halloween Festival at the Toy Store followed my a ladies' lunch and train spotting.

And of course some nap time!

Luckily Grandpa felt better the last two days of their trip so Mark and Grace were able to get him out for a short hike.

Finally, the day that Gigi and G2Pa left we did a morning trip to the pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins.  It was a really fun morning!

And after picking the pumpkins, it was home to get them carved.

 We had such a great time showing two of our favorite people our new town.  We can't wait to get them back out here--hopefully with less travel drama and better health!  Love you both!
