Over the last few weeks we've attended a few parties. The first was a housewarming party at Abigail and Andy's. The big highlight of the party for Grace was trying a lemon--surprisingly, she kind of liked it!
"Hmmm--What's this?"
"This is interesting!"
"Wait! Where'd it go?"
"I can do this on my own."
"So sour, but so good!"
"Okay, maybe it's a bit too sour."
"But you don't have to take it away!"
The second party was Porter Linvill's first birthday party. Mark and Jenn had a great party for Porter. Grace really enjoyed watching all the little kids that were there. The greatest part was when Porter opened one of the toys that is Grace's favorite and the other kids started playing with it. You could tell Grace was a bit concerned--like, "how did my toy get here and why is everyone else playing with it?" She was so relieved to see that it was still in her room when we got home!
Grace loves parties!
