Girls' Weekend

This weekend Mark had his annual fishing trip with the men from the Hone family. They all gather at Pokagon State Park in Angola, Indiana. The ladies also gather for some time together. This year GG and Aunt Julie made the drive down to West Lafayette. Mark's mom joined us for dinner Friday night and we did the gallery walk in downtown Lafayette. Aunt Julie and GG stayed with Grace and I Friday night and we were treated to some large storms that made the electricity go out. It was quite the adventure trying to find flashlights and batteries in the dark. The power came on around 2:30 a.m. and then went out again for a few hours the next morning. Saturday we loaded up the car and went down to Mark's parents house in Indy. It was a low key afternoon spent playing with Grace on the sun porch. This morning Grace's Aunt Amy was able to join us and we all went to Broad Ripple for some shopping and lunch. It was a great weekend. Grace was a very happy, giggly baby and was so excited to show GG and Aunt Julie how she could sit, eat, and play with her toys. We can't wait to do it again next year!
