Two!

I cannot believe two years have passed since we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into this world! Grace has given Mark and I some of the best experiences of our lives. To see her grow and develop, especially during the last year has been so rewarding. Perhaps one of the greatest thrills of the last year has been having her be able to tell us what she needs and how she feels. There is nothing like having Grace say she loves you!

We love you so much Grace! Happy Birthday!!!

Cousins Night

What a fun night we had this evening! Mark's cousins came down from Chicago/Minneapolis to meet our new niece, Anna. Since West Lafayette is half way between Chicago and Indy everyone gathered at our house. Whenever we get together with Mark's cousins we have way too much fun! Thanks for making the trip and thanks for all the laughs!

Daddy's Helper

Whenever Grace wanders off we can usually find her in Mark's office. Today she actually made it up into his chair and was playing with the mouse--just getting a bit of work done on a Saturday for daddy!

Disclaimer: I did NOT make her do this! She insisted on helping :-)

Indian Princess

Yesterday these were in Grace's pile when I picked her up from school. They've been learning about Native Americans at school this week and made these. Evidently, they even did a parade around to the other classrooms wearing their outfits.

Pantry

Grace has figured out how to open the pantry door and she loves standing in front of it and pointing to what she wants! She looks so little looking up at all the shelves!

Packages

Grace LOVES getting packages in the mail. Here she is opening her Halloween treats from Grandma and Grandpa Applebee last week!
