Daddy's Helper

Whenever Grace wanders off we can usually find her in Mark's office. Today she actually made it up into his chair and was playing with the mouse--just getting a bit of work done on a Saturday for daddy!

Disclaimer: I did NOT make her do this! She insisted on helping :-)

Indian Princess

Yesterday these were in Grace's pile when I picked her up from school. They've been learning about Native Americans at school this week and made these. Evidently, they even did a parade around to the other classrooms wearing their outfits.

Pantry

Grace has figured out how to open the pantry door and she loves standing in front of it and pointing to what she wants! She looks so little looking up at all the shelves!

Packages

Grace LOVES getting packages in the mail. Here she is opening her Halloween treats from Grandma and Grandpa Applebee last week!

Eight Years!

Today Mark and I celebrated the eighth anniversary of our nuptials. We have so many fond memories of that chilly day in Alma. It's amazing how much has changed since that day but how many things are just the same! Thank you for being such a fabulous husband Mark! I can't wait to see what the future holds for us!

This is one of my favorite pics from our wedding. We're being showered with bird seed as we make our way to our limo.

Videos

We go in spurts when taking videos and lately we just haven't got as many. Probably because Grace usually stops whatever she is doing when we get the video camera out. But we have been able to sneak in a few good ones recently.

These first two should have been with my post a few weeks ago about marathon weekend but I forgot we had taken them. The first is me and Grace riding the panda at the mall and the second is Grace walking with Mark through the mall. I am absolutely enamored by watching them walk together. There's just something about such a little girl with her daddy. I love the way how she has to reach up high to hold his hand and how she does little running spurts to keep up. It's one of those things that when I watch them I hope the image will stay in my memory forever!

This next video is of Grace and I singing the ABCs. This is the third or fourth time we had done it that night so she was getting a bit tired of singing them but I think she's doing so well learning them!

Finally, Grace LOVES Elmo. She also loves watching videos on the iTouch. Here is her singing with Elmo as she watches him.

Can you believe how big she is getting? She is just so much fun!!!
